Our Story

Woven in the spirit of the Ourika valley.

Ourikaa takes its name from a green valley in the foothills of the Moroccan Atlas, where the river runs cold and clear and Berber villages have woven by hand for generations. That craft — patient, geometric, full of meaning — is where our throws begin.

We believe a blanket should carry a story. So instead of printing a picture onto polyester, we have ours jacquard-woven from 100% cotton — the diamonds, zigzags and tribal motifs sit in the cloth, with the soft, breathable texture of a real Berber weave. Each piece is finished with a natural fringe, the way it has always been done.

Every Ourikaa throw is made on demand and shipped from a print lab close to you — in the US for US orders, in Europe for European orders. Nothing sits in a warehouse; nothing goes to waste. You order, we weave, it arrives.

From the Atlas to your sofa, your bed, your favourite reading chair — a little warmth, with soul.

Ourikaa. Woven, never printed.
